Merci SID LEE!
Thanks to the Sid Lee COLLECTIVE … I had this amazing opportunity to go to Montreal and meet the people who make up the SUPER COOL AGENCY Sid Lee.
They flew me all the way up from Buenos Aires to Montreal to illustrate huge black boards through out their creative nebula aka office.
For an entire week I was fortunate enough to experience the unique creative energy at SID LEE … talk with people … have an ART OPENING … give a lecture to a great bunch of local illustrators .. many of who I admire, attend a comic convention… eat raw beef, snail and duck in a can …..learn a little French, talk to taxi drivers from Haiti and have many other unforgettable memories.
I am truly grateful! Thanks for an amazing time and for being such a gracious host.

chalk boy in action

hide your chalk board … NO ONE IS SAFE!

My office looks exactly like this .. except for … um … everything.

They have an inhouse Chef .. now that’s what I’m talking about!

I also like monkeys in human clothing .. but they seem to have left that out.

Now they know how to have an opening … keep drinking wine .. my art will eventually look good :)

My first time trying Oysters … deliciouuuuuuuuuuuuus!

Not only is Isabella a great artist .. she can make one hell of a dessert

I know this question has been tormenting you for awhile .. waking you up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat .. you ask “Are the fortune cookies in Montreal bilingual as well????” .. the answer is YES/OUI

I have finally found a building that actually looks like the way I draw a building

You have such a primitive, wild, exotic, esoteric style. And it looks so good on chalkboard. Great work.

Just stumbled in here because of a link to the photo at the bottom of that remarkable building.
Where is it situated? Montreal? On what street?
Thanks in advance!
Love,
Simon
