    these are all fantaaaastic!
too many quotes there are so many good ones…. one I loved as a kid was:
“happiness is like wetting your pants, everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth.”
and my typography teacher said something funny the other day which is sort of irrelevant but its a quote:
“Hyphens are an unfortunate existence in the world, like drugs or sex trafficking.”

  • jeff

hey n8, my girlfriend said the other day “I aint' got a RED CENT”. I was trippen on the phrase, and have heard it many times since a kid. So I checked on the origin. It was when the U.S created the lowest worth coin, to use when buying from American Natives. That penny was made in copper (unlike the nickles etc.) and had an American indian on the face. It was called the Redskin coin…. Then onto a Red Cent.
During the depression, the phrase was made “..aint' got a Red Cent”.
    My favorite for sure!

“What an abyss of uncertainty whenever the mind feels that some part of it has strayed beyond its own borders; when it, the seeker, is at once the dark region through which it must go seeking, where all its equipment will avail it nothing. Seek? More than that: create. It is face to face with something which does not so far exist, to which it alone can give reality and substance, which it alone can bring into the light of day.”
