Festival de l’Oh!
A dreamy poster announcing the Festival de l’Oh! can be seen throughout Paris and its outlying areas. The poster is for the annual river festival held in Val de Marne, France, a suburban county which clusters dozens of cities south of Paris (festival was held in 24 of them…), which is situated on a historically important river way. The poster and a number of other illustrations were commissioned through an international artist selection process that reviewed artists work from a number of countries before a final decision was made. Additional illustrations can be seen on the web link above.

Hi Nate,
We didn’t have opportunity to talk again since we prepared your work last automn. Now that the festival is behind us, I’d like to congratulate for what you’ve made. The posters had great impact and matched really with our festival and our thematics. Hundreds of people congratulated us for this image and asked us to send them copies - what we did of course.
Just one detail : Val-de-Marne is not a small town, but a suburbian county which clusters dozens of cities south of Paris (festival was held in 24 of them…). We recorded the participation of 180.000 people. From the 9th of July, you’ll be able to watch the Web-TV magazine related to it on : http://www.cg94.fr
