TMDG, Mar Del Plata, Argentina

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

The 2007 TRIMARCHI DG event, in Mar Del Plata, Argentina, was amazing. Non-stop inspiration for 3 days, motion graphics, designers, illustrators, live music, skateboarding, people from many countries and much more. At night there were some really fun parties with a good portion of the 5000 attendees.

It was also Milo’s first time to the beach :)

Wow .. my uncle Bob just sent me some old photos …

This is the house I lived in until I was 14 .. it’s located in El Cerrito .. right in the Bay Area next to Berkeley .. lots of great times .. I think the most memorable experiences were taking BART all over the Bay Area looking for skate spots with my best friend Jeff

My mom found a winning lottery ticket when she was young and won this car .. Victor A. Cipolla was my grand father.

Tucuman, Argentina

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

My good friend, Facundo, invited me to see Tucuman, Argentina. He and Feli attended a philosophy conference and I wandered the streets in search for the perfect park bench.

Iani’s famous “EARTH QUAKE CAKE” … this year, she perfectly recreated The San Andreas Fault, a geological fault that runs a length of roughly 800 miles (1,300 km) through western and southern California in the United States, her recreation is identical!! HOW DOES SHE DO IT????!!!!!

Aqua-galactic CD Poster

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Here is a really fun project I collaborated on for the Brazilian trend research company, Box 1824. This cd cover folds out into a glow in the dark poster that was specifically designed to accompany a cd with a futuristic soundtrack by Jackson Araujo. I walked around the city and listened to the music and it filled my brain with organic, liquidy, images and made me feel like I was floating in deep space and deep sea.

Throwing lemons at cars

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

When I was around 10 or 11 years old my friends and I used to like to throw lemons at moving cars. We lived near a busy street with lots of trees and lemon bushes. Usually when we hit a car it would slow down, but then continue. One night we hit the wrong car. It was a super nice Cadillac. When we hit this car .. it slammed on it’s breaks and then went into reverse at 50 mph. It skidded to a stop right in front of the bush we were hiding in and a huge, huge, HUGE guy got out. He was definitely a pimp or a drug dealer. We all thought we were dead. I was literally looking at his shoes from about 3 feet away. He looked around but didn’t see us .. and then got back into the car. That was the last time we threw lemons at cars.
